Haleluyah – Psalm 146
“For the oppressed He is the judge.
Food He gives to those in need,
freedom He grants to the enslaved.”

Tzena
“Go out, girls, into the field, and
     see the soldiers...”

Shlosha Pirkei Hallel
Psalm 111
     “Haleluyah!
     I will praise the Lord with my whole heart;
In the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.
Great are the works of the Lord,
**______ to all those that seek them.
Honorable and glorious is his action
     And His righteousness endures forever.
He has made a reminder of His wonders.
Gracious and compassionate is the Lord.
Meat He has given to those that fear Him.
He will forever remember His covenant.
The might of His works He has shown to His people,
To give them the heritage of the nations.
The works of is hands are truth and justice.
Sure are all of His commandments.
     Done in truth and uprightness,
     Established for ever and ever.
***Redemption He sent to His people
He has commanded His covenant forever

Holy and awesome is His name.
The beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord.
A good understanding have all they that do His commandments
     His praise stands forever.

Psalm 112
     “Haleluyah!
Happy is the man who fears the Lord,
**Who delights greatly in His commandments.
Mighty upon the earth shall his seed be.
The generation of the upright shall be blessed.
Wealth and riches shall be in his house,
     And his righteousness stands forever.
In the darkness rises a light unto the upright.
He is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.
Good is the man who shows favor, and lends.
He will guide his affairs with judgement,
For He shall not be moved forever.
For an everlasting reminder shall the righteous be.
From evil tidings he shall not be afraid
Fixed is his heart, trusting in the Lord.
Established is his heart, he shall not be afraid,
     *Until he enemies will see.
*He has dispersed, given to the poor
     His righteousness endures forever
His horn shall be exalted with honor.
The wicked shall see, and be angered
His teeth he shall gnash, and he shall melt away.
The desire of the wicked shall be lost.”

Psalm 113 -
     “Haleluyah!
     Praise, servants of the Lord.
Praise the name of the Lord.
Let the name of the Lord be blessed
     From now until forever.
From the rising of the sun to its coming in.
Praised is the name of the Lord.
High above all nations is The Lord.
On the heavens is His glory.
Who is like the Lord our God
     *who dells on high.
Who humbles himself to behold what is in heaven and in the earth!
He raises up the poor out of the dust,
     From the dunghill He lifts the needy;
That he may sit them with princes,
Even with the princes of his people.
He makes the barren woman to keep house,
To be a joyful mother of children.
     Haleluyah!

Kaddish
     May it be magnified
     and may it be sanctified
     His great name,
in the world whose creation He willed.
     May His kingdom be fulfilled
     in your life
     and in your days
and in the life of the whole House of Israel,
     soon and near in time,
     and say, Amen!

May His great name be praised
     forever, and ever and ever!
     May it be praised
     and may it be blessed
     and may it be glorified
     and may it be upraised
     and may it be elevated,
     may it be honored
     and may it be exalted
     and may it be extolled,
the name of the Holy One - praised be He!

     Beyond all words-of-praise, words-of-song,
     words-of-blessing, and words-of-comfort
that are uttered in this world,
     and say, Amen!

May there be abundant peace from Heaven
     and life
for us and for all Israel,
     and say, Amen!

Maker of peace in the abode-on-high,
     may He make peace
for us and for all Israel,
     and say, Amen!

Yihyeh Tov
     A love song: “Everything’s going
to be all right.  Although sometimes
I feel broken, tonight I will stay with
     you.”

Hafle Vafele
     “And Moses struck the rock,
With a staff he struck the stone
And water came forth from it.
     Wonder of wonders.

Elohim Hashivenu - Psalm 80
“God, restore us.  Cause Your face to
shine upon us, and we shall be saved. ”

Mizmorei Tehilim
Psalm 47 –  “All you peoples, clap your
hands; shout to God with a voice of
triumph, for the Lord most high is
awesome.  He is a great King over all the
      Earth…Sing praises to our King.”

Psalm 48 –  “Beautifully situated, the
joy of the whole earth; Mount Zion, the
sides of the north, the city of the great
King.  God is known in her palaces as a
     fortress.”

Psalm 150 – “Haleluyah!…Praise Him
with the sound of the shofar.  Praise
Him with the harp and lyre.  Praise Him
with the timbrel and dance…Praise Him
     upon loud clashing cymbals.  Let
everything that has breath praise the
     Lord.  Haleluyah!”

Mitachat Hashamayim
A love song: “We have time, under
the sky.  For now, we are still here.”

Mizmor L’David – Psalm 29
“A psalm of David: Give unto the Lord, O ye mighty; give unto the Lord glory and strength.  Give unto the Lord the glory due unto His Name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness. The voice of the Lord is upon the waters.  The God of glory thunders; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty.  The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars; yea the Lord breaks the cedars of Lebanon.  He makes them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn.  The voice of the Lord divides the flames of fire.  The voice of the Lord shakes the wilderness; the Lord shakes the wilderness of Kadesh.  The voice of the Lord makes the hinds to calve, and discovers the forests; and in His temple does everyone speak of His glory.  The Lord sits upon the flood; yea, the Lord sits king forever. The Lord will give strength unto His people; The Lord will bless His people with peace.”

El Eretz Tzvi
A song of the Entebbe rescue:
      "…To the land of deer
To the honey of her fields
To the Carmel and to the desert…"

Lamnatzeach – Psalm 8
      “…When I behold Your heavens…the
moon and the stars which You have
ordained; what is man, that You are
mindful of him?…Yet You have made
him a little lower than the angels, and
You crown him with glory and honor…”

Keren Or
“Light a white candle in the black tent
of my heart.  All around us, let the
      light shine.”

Na’ar Hayiti
“I was once a young boy, and I
have grown old, but never have I
      seen a righteous man abandoned.”

Hora
“A train still crosses a green orchard
there, a stork still soars above.
And the fog still hangs in the valley
Between the sunrise and the dew."
